Think Collaboration to Create

At Shibui Designs we collaborate on local and global projects that “give back.” Wherever we can, we develop “cottage industries” and use local talent, local materials, and local suppliers.

Jackie B's Project

Jackie B. has selected her core group of design interns. She’s excited to start working on her line of merchandise. Right now, you can find Jackie at her gifting suite at the Sundance Film Festival.

smART Projects

Susanne Manheimer will compose a team of design graduates, each team will utilize their knowledge of design, typography, and production techniques for a non-profit client. Each team member will build on their design strengths, as well as learn how to run a professional design studio. Work experience will include client briefs, design proposals, budgets and schedules and will include working on every aspect of design from concept through to production in print, 3D and interactive deliverables.

Ms. Manheimer has had 29 vigorous and exuberant years of experience in design. She has worked with many brands of the retail industry including Walt Disney, Tiffany & Co. and Bloomingdales. Her knowledge, understanding and respect for innovative design, is incorporated in her invention of new design approaches. Simplicity and directness of communication are the main elements of her style. Ms. Manheimer’s work makes people smile, laugh and … think. Susanne is currently teaching full time at the Art Institute and working on design projects.
